सेवा ही जीवन का सार सर्वस्व
यह जो आपका शरीर है यह भी तो आपको मिला है । इसकी सेवा करो, अपनी सेवा करो । अगर आप अकिंचन और अचाह नहीं होते तो क्या अपनी सेवा कर सकते हैं ? अगर आप उदार नहीं बनते तो क्या आप विश्व की सेवा कर सकते हैं ? अगर आप प्रभु को अपना नहीं मानते; प्रेमी नहीं बनते तो प्रभु की सेवा कर सकते हैं क्या ? प्रेम तत्व की प्राप्ति का अर्थ क्या है ? प्रभु की सेवा, और त्याग का अर्थ क्या है? अपनी सेवा और उदारता का अर्थ क्या है - जगत की सेवा ।
तो आप अपनी सेवा कर सकते हैं, जगत् की सेवा कर सकते हैं और प्रभु की सेवा कर सकते हैं । सेवा ही तो मानव जीवन का सार सर्वस्व है । इस सम्बन्ध में हमारी दृष्टि नहीं जाती । हम इस तरह सोचते ही नहीं । तो जिस प्रभु ने हमें यह स्वाधीनता दी कि हम जगत् की सेवा कर सकते हैं, अपनी सेवा कर सकते हैं और प्रभु की सेवा कर सकते हैं, हम उस प्रभु की महिमा गायें ।

Service: The only quintessence of life

This your body, even this is given to you. Serve it, serve yourself. Can you serve yourself unless purged of the sense of ownership and desire? Can you serve the world unless you become magnanimous? Can you serve God unless with feeling for him as your closest kin and becoming Divine lover? What is the meaning of attaining the quintessential love? It is identical with service to God. And what is the import of renunciation? It amounts to serving oneself.
Thus, you can be serviceable to yourself, to the world and to God. Service alone is the quintessence of human life. Our attention doesn’t get on focus in this regard. We don’t think this way. Let us sing the glory of God, the dispenser of freedom with which we can serve the world, ourselves and the Lord himself.
